Can Losartan Cause Hair Growth?

Good evening. I am a hair dresser and I have a client who's hair is growing in so thick. The only medication she is on is Losartan. She started taking the medication 1 year ago. You can absolutely see the difference. All I keep reading is this med can cause hair loss. I also know there are some blood pressure meds that can help regrow hair. I'm very curious if anyone can put some light on my question. Thank you.

It isn't listed in the side effects, and I can't find any research or real world use reports of it being known to cause hair growth, or thickening.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of Losartan as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.

However, it could be due to other factors, such as improved diet/nutrition, different hair care products being used, or age related hormonal changes, among others. I had very fine, thin hair my entire life, until I was almost 50, and suddenly it became very thick, and full, I've never really worried about why, though, I'm just loving it. LOL

Has she made any other lifestyle changes that you know of?
