Can I Take Tramadol The Day Before Surgery ?

I have torn cartilage in my knee and have been waiting for surgery for like 4 months now and I am finialy having it tommo , but have just fell and I'm in quite a bit of pain and wanted to take my tramadol I have left from when my leg used to hurt like this , is it safe to take before surgery ?

Please don't take anything before surgery, without checking with your doctor or the surgeon. Anesthesia can be very touchy and there are many drugs that it can negatively interact with.
