Can I Take Fentanyl Before My Subutex Or Will It Send Me Into Precipatate Withdrawal

I know if I take heroin then my subutex, I will go into precipatated withdrawal. but I wouldn't go into withdrawal if I took my subutex then heroin. Is it the same situation with fentanyl?

Are you sure you are taking Subutex or Suboxone - Reason I'm asking is Suboxone has has an active drug in it called Naltrexone which is an opiate antagonist which sends a user into instant w/d if the use any other type of opiate - Subutex on the other hand is given to patients typically who go to DR with opiates in there system and can start Bupropion treatment immediately without having to experience wd. Usually, after 30 days a Dr. will switch patient from Subutex to Suboxone to maintain the patient and keeps patient from abusing other opiates b/c they know the will experience sudden with drawls if they choose to cheat and use again.
So if its Subtex you'll be fine, if its Suboxone then no its not safe to take the patch until the naltrexone is out of your system. Also not, Subutex/Suboxone active drug Bupropion has this amazing ability to attach itself to all your opiate receptors more effectively than other opiates w/o continuing to get the user more High also known as ceiling effect. This will make your patch far less effective until the Bupropion is totally out of your system, which brings up fact #2 - Sub's half-life is very long over other opiates which makes it great for the treatment of addiction b/c you won't experience the on-set of w/d with sub in over 24 hrs compared to the short half-life of oxy being about 8-10 hrs. I'd recommend to wait about 15-18 hrs after your last Sub dose before applying the patch. To get a more accurate timeline look up the sub half-life and number of pills you've injested, do the math and bada boom bada bing - You'll know what time you can apply the patch. Also note from your own experience how long it takes for the patch to take affect on you after application, mine is fairly short where avg. is about 8 hrs
