Can you take Methadone while being prescribed Adderall?

I'm kind of replying to all. I take 140...Adderall doctor says I can't do that. She said she was scared for my safety of how it would affect me. Kind of like a mixture of a stimulant and a depressant is the way we talked about but not exact. She says she needs to ask my counselor. A lot of people take this. I don't understand why she's taking so long to fix me. Because my dad didn't believe in meds I'm paying for it. My job is also on the line because I keep making the same mistakes. It takes me so long to learn things...its been immortal hell. I took some of my cousins Adderall and it actually had me remember everything the teacher said and understand what was going on? So why would she do this????? Tons of ppl are on a high dose and Adderall.

You have to know someone's situation before you tell them just to forget the methadone. just for someone to take what you said the wrong way it would be bad and trust me ppl do...it saved me and my sons life and made us stable. i get it though. i been on it for 17yrs.

Well, I'm going to be square with y'all whis curious. Methadone pills and any stimulant mixed together will cause a horrible interaction. Personally, I've done, which was stupid. But I felt dizzy, I had some hallucinogenic effects, sleepyness, and aggravation. Afterwards, I had a convulsion that almost ended my life. From my own experiences, please don't try this. And it may also make you sick after a while, for me, I had projectile vomiting, low grade fever, diarrhea, and extreme hunger and dehydration. It has also been linked to Serotonin Syndrome which can render you comatose indefinitely. I pray to god everyday for helping me stop and now I believe its my duty to pass on my inspiration and lessons I've learned.

How can u get off this methadone s***? I take 160mg and it's almost been a year. It was supposed to have helped me, but now I want to stop as I have been clean.

I beleive that since adderall is an amphetamine it "eats up your methadone" and makes you feel like you are withdrawing.
