Can I Take Clindamycin And Cefuroxime At The Same Time?

I just started taking Clindamycin and I'm on my third day. And Cefuroxime Axetil was recently prescribed to me this day after routine check up. I really forgot to mention I was taking it Clindamycin for Acne. So I'll finish my drug regimen first with Clindamycin and then Cefuroxime Axetil After. Although they have different uses. I'm worried of drug resistant. Am I making the right decision. Going back to the doctor is such a hassle with time.

Yes, you can take them both, if your doctor has instructed you to do so.

The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash,

Are you on any other medications?

No just these two. Thank you for replying. And I had just discovered that I was allergic to Clindamycin. So stopping to take Clindamycin was immediately done.

I take both clindamycin and cefuroxime axetil at the same time for my abscess in armpit. But the the problem inhave skin rash and its itchy. Is this allergy?

I have a soft tissue infection from a cut on my shin. It seemed to improving slowly with Betadine/gauze dressings and Zinnat 500 twice daily prescribed by a clinical nurse.
As I am traveling I sought a review with an orthopaedic surgeon. He agreed with the dressing procedure but changed the antibiotic to DalacinC 300 three times daily. Twelve hours after this change the area is noticeably more swollen and sore.
Does any body know if it is OK to take DalacinC AND Zinnat at the same time ?
The orthopaedic surgeon is advising I give the Dalacin another day !
