Can I Take Amox Clav 875 Mg With Other Medications.

I'm taking Methotrexate and folic acid pills to treat my psoriasis. Is it OK to take Amox-Clav 875MG with these other medications?

Is your doctor aware that you're taking all of these medications?

The antibiotic may increase the levels of Methotrexate, so usually it's recommended that a different antibiotic be used and that you stay away from the Penicillin class.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of antibiotics as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
