Can I Take 30mg Morphine Er With 7.5-325mg Hydroco Together
UpdatedI had shoulder surgery yesterday and was prescribed both, but was too out of it to get clarification. It's Saturday so I can't call. Should I take one at night like morphine and the Hydro daytime? Thanks

Hello, Snorky! How are you?
Only your doctor can give you a definitive answer, but usually the time released one is used for long-term pain control and the regular release one is used to prevent breakthrough pain.
The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Have you consulted your doctor?
