Hello, Krissy! How is he doing?
Please, do not give him anything without a doctor's approval, not even half of one. It is far too easy to overdose a child of that age. It would be best to take him to his pediatrician and let them prescribe an appropriate treatment, if one is necessary.
I understand that you love him and want to relieve this, so he is no longer miserable, but it just isn't worth the risks. I felt the same, when my son was small… I even still feel that way sometimes, although he's 20, now. LOL
Does he have a fever, at all?
