Can I Combine Nortriptyline And Amitriptyline?
UpdatedHi,
I was on amitriptyline 20 mg before sleep time and venlafaxine 150 mg in the morning. Because of side effects my doctor prescribed me nortriptyline 25 mg in the evening and 25 mg in the morning. I was sleeping better when I was on amitriptyline. Would it be a good idea to take amitriptyline before sleep time and nortriptyline early in the morning.
Are there anybody who has sleep issues on nortriptyline?
Thanks in advance.

Hello, Peter! How are you?
How long have you been on the Nortriptyline, now?
Most of these medications can cause sleep disruptions, but it usually improves after about 4 to 6 weeks, once your bodies adjust to the drug. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight changes.
