i am on 76mls of methadone have been clean from heroin addiction for 8 months. things were great, me and my partner of 12 years were on a high because we were clean but for the past few weeks iv became majorly depressed and he my partner started getting 'itchy' he came home yesterday with heroin ....major regrets and i now feel so low and disgusted with us both its even worse because we are at the drug screening clinic today!! why i wasnt strong enough yesterday to say no is beyond me uuugh anyway my question is this if i got someone who is completely drug free to give me a urine sample and added a tiny droplet of methadone to it would i pass a drug screening test? i want to come clean we have been addicts for 10 years we have finally a brilliant drug worker who has helped us ALOT and put her neck on the line for us as well, the staff really liked us, they sent my partner away to detox 7 months ago and it cost them £3000 he was extremely lucky as that is hardly ever done in the town we live in and from the facility we are at i dnt even want to look them in the eyes. we feel so bad and dnt want to let anyone down. someone told us they have been putting methadone in clean urine for 2 yrs and getting away with it im not so sure about this? and am very anxious. my partner has more to lose he has manic depression and is on vallium we have been given weekly pick up in full for our methadone and he gets his vallium monthly hes worried theyl take our privaliges away frm us so has asked me to do it just this once and he will never put me in the position again. if this isnt going to work i dnt even want to try it id rather just come clean and be honest and get the help we need but im not getting through to him and i dnt wnat to make him look bad if he lies and i tell the truth. thanks.

Hi, we have very similar stories! Also I'm on methadone, and not allowed to have Xanax in my system, but I NEED IT! Annnd I consume cannabis (for R.A. and PTSD), annnnd I live in Florida (Tampa bay area). I hope you're doing well today. I know for me, I have good and bad days. I have days I go without my methadone, so I can have days that I can take enough (60 mgs) to feel well enough to get things done. So anyway, hope you're having a good day!

Hi josaphene i have done the same and tested it but i have a quick ? I put methadone in clean urine and tedted at home. It does test positive for thst moment but will it stay like that? Or do i jave to put methadone in right before giving a urine

As long as the test is a simple panel test that they do right in the clinic, putting methadone in your urine will work. If the urine is sent to a lab for a more elaborate, expensive test that looks for metabolites, you will not pass. Having said that, many clinics utilize the cheaper, instant panels so adding methadone to your urine will work.

Do not add methadone to your urine. Yes it will work for any take home test. But at any lab these days it 100% will not. Metabolites or EDDP is what the federal government requires to test for. It is the after product after traveling through your liver. One way to look at it is, it's the baseline how they determine if you are in compliance. Feds, clinics know about addition of drops of methadone added to mimic compliance. Thats is why they have had numerous controlled studies to figure out the most reliable and cheaper method. Looking for what it's urine after our liver synthesis it. This goes for all substances these days. It really sucks. Sorry. I'm in the same boat. It is best to find someone who is clean with Methadone in their system already. I also would like to know someone like that

Did this all the time, however was in the late 90s. In fact, used TEA, with a corner of methadone from the take-home Sunday bottle. Sent it to the lab and all. Worked. Almost got busted though, when the Elmer's bottle with the concoction orange top went shooting off.

This may sound really silly but can you freeze your urine or keep it in the refrigerator? I've never done this before. I'm being straight up I did it I'll admit it. I ran out of my Suboxone 3 days early. Please don't judge me. Because it's so hard to get the medication we need so desperately. If you answer this how long can you keep it in the refrigerator or the freezer? And what do I put it in that would be real helpful. Thank you so much. In need of some help please.
