Although alcohol can interact with certain medicines, in the case of Amoxicillin trihydrate, there are no known interactions between the two.

That said, I think you may have to be you're own best judge as to when and how often you decide to drink while you're taking this medication (basing it off of how you feel). Personally, if I were to drink, I would wait till after I feel the effects of the medication kick in, so I know that it's already working.
