Can Hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325 Effect Blood Sugar?

Does this raise my blood sugar? I just ended Oxycodene and started Hydrocodone. My sugars are running extremely high over 400. Is this med causing this?

No, it doesn't usually have an effect on blood sugar levels, except for occasionally masking the symptoms of low blood sugar, as reported by the FDA. Its typical side effects usually include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation.

It also carries the risk of being habit forming.

Are you on any other medications? Has anything changed in your diet recently?
