Can Hexarone Cause Hypertention

I have a small prolapse of the valve in the left chamber of my heart and it is very uncomfortable with an extra sistole. I am on Hexarone 100mg in the morning and 50mg evening.
My blood pressure stays at 147/80 and sometimes even higher. After the 9th tablet the docter tried I am now on Irbewin 150 one morning, one evening. Still the upper
reading doesn't come down. Is there perhaps a solution? I am very worried, please help. First appointment with physician 15 Januarie 2014.

No, that's not something that's listed in any of the side effects that I can find.

What about trying a combination of medications to lower your blood pressure?

That is what is often done in the U.S. and Canada when someone has resistant hypertension. The doctors usually combine medications from a couple of different treatment groups, since they tend to work synergistically. You might want to ask your doctor about it.
