Can Bystolic Make Your Glucose Go Up And Not Be Diabetic?

Yes, beta blockers have been known to do that in some people that take them, according to reports from the NIH. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.

It may also cause palpitations, which most likely explains the fluttering.

Overall, it would be best to consult your doctor as it might be best for you to try a different medication.
