I am age 65 and have had eye floaters for a while. I have just started taking Belviq (Lorcaserin HCL) about 1 week ago and have noticed more floaters. I generally expect more floaters as I get older. Call taking Lorcaserin HCL increase or worsen eye floaters.

Hi Bill,
From your description it sounds to me like Belviq could very well be exacerbating the condition. According to research on NIH.gov, Belviq (Lorcaserin) can reportedly cause blurred vision or other vision related changes (including hallucinations). My suggestion if any of these symptoms were to become too persistent or severe, would be to contact your doctor immediately, just to be on the safe side.
