These are the active ingredients in the antibiotic Augmentin and no, that is not a normal side effect. If it was, people would have discovered it long ago and started using it to treat hair loss and baldness.
As a matter of fact, in some people, it causes quite the opposite, if they are on it for a long time, they can experience hair loss.
The normal side effects, however, can include: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea.
