Can Accutane Cause Brown Spots On Hands?

I am currently on Accutane medication and I have been taking it for the past 2 and a half weeks. The first week when I started taking it, it coincided with my vacation in Hawaii. As you can imagine, I was exposed to sun in Hawaii and after my trip I noticed these brown spots (which sort of look like freckles) on my right hand. The strange thing is that it's only on my one hand for now, nowhere else. I've never experienced something like this. Is it possible that Accutane caused it? If so, will those spots go away?

Hello, Aniiulka7! How are you doing? Sorry about the problem that you're having.

They could just be due to your time in the sun, many medications including this one, tend to make your more sensitive to the sun's effects, however, only your doctor can let you know for sure.

Have you consulted your doctor, yet?
