Camber Pharmaceuticals Generic Percocet (Page 6)

Updated

Just got Camber Pharm generic Percocet at Walgreens instead of the Actavis brand. It's giving me an upset stomach and causing me to feel weird. Has anyone else had a similar reaction?

Re: Lildarlin (# 94) Expand Referenced Message

I've got the inactive ingredients in Camber percocet. The pharmacist sent me a pdf file from her iphone. I can't figure out how to copy and paste it; so I will have to write it out and then send it later. They use a different dye for each strength. Both the of the ingredients that we're concerned about crosprovidone and providone are in the Camber. The higher up on the list it is, means a higher strength of it. Mine are blue 5mg-325.

Re: Bella (# 99) Expand Referenced Message

On top of that, I cant copy and post it here but on the Camber page of the oxycodone/apap, 10-325 it clearly states.... The things it does not have like nuts, that sort of thing but what is shocking is... it says plain as day in the red box... "contains alcohol"! who ever heard of putting alcohol in a pain pill. This is not a form of something made up.. its pure alcohol! is this why my stomach feels like it has a whole in it????

Re: MeJane (# 102) Expand Referenced Message

I know! I saw that yesterday and i am so sensitive to things make from formaldehyde. I cant even have carpet in my home. I have to have hard wood floors. This must be what is making my toung, lips, and eyes swell not to mention I feel like I have a whole in my stomach. It clearly states it contains.... ALCOHOL! in the red box. Go to the Camber home page. look up the products... oxycodone/325 or what dose u take. This is before the insert. It will tell you what it dont contain like nuts, dairy... but says it contains ALCOHOL. This has to be a reason for my stomach burning... IM so upset

Re: Bella (# 99) Expand Referenced Message

All of your side effect symptoms are exactly the same as mine for months now. This is VERY sad & VERY scary, giving me chills knowing they (Big Pharma) are using us as their guinea pigs, poisoning each of us who trusted in them to remedy us! Years ago in Pharma Developement testing new meds & formulas pharmaceutical companies they’d have volunteer test patients noting side effects, etc before being approved. Now they seem like sneaks & do as they wish adding poisonous fillers. Seems to me some at FDA & DEA could be on the “balance the population” pay-to-play kickback $$ payroll?!? Yes u’all, it's so hard to conceive; but it’s happening. Our many posts tell by the # of us “good patients” who have been on pain mgmt for years after all procedures for conditions have failed... surgeries, injections, specialists & now all of us having this common denominator of side effects SUDDENLY in last year or so. We cannot be naive to this. A good place to start bringing all this to light is to speak to your Dr’s & Congress; yes they are busy but get their email address, write them, phone them; pump them full of our justification research & don't be afraid to speak your voice. It's YOUR life, YOUR body & not their’s to play basketball with. Xoxo to all.

The Inactive Ingredients In Camber Percocet:

Colloidal Silicon Dioxide, Croscarmellose sodium, Crospovidone, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Povidone, Pregelatinized Starch, Stearic Acid.

5/325 MG Contains FD & C Blue #1
7.5/325 MG Contains FD & C Yellow #6
10/325 MG Contains D & C Yellow #6

This article explains the difference between FD & C and D & C...

Source: "What Do 'FD & C' and 'D & C' Mean on Food and Drug Labels", thedelicioustruth.blogspot.com. Web. November 20th, 2009

Compare to the inactive ingredients in Actavis; The inactive ingredients are croscarmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, pregelatinized corn starch, silicon dioxide and stearic acid.

Note; No dyes or Crospovidone in Actavis. I dont think the dyes help either. The Camber has both crospovidone and Povidone. Guess that means more of the filler in the Camber. So does the camber have a double dose. If so, thats not good. Seems crospovidone is iodine/formaldehyde. I want to ask the pharmacist if it is common to use crospovidone. It's my best guess thats the problem. Actavis emailed me and said their formula has not changed since oct. 2013. Of course they wouldnt say what country the ingredient came from. They just said; The country of origin for the individual ingredients is proprietary and subject to change due to business needs. All I know is I have been off the Camber and back on Actavis for 2 weeks. My throat is on fire and Im exhausted. Probably still the side effects of the Camber. I just dont know.

I do have a draft started to my local congressman and Senator but I have to finish it and too tired to. Plus I want all my facts together before I do. Let me say, that I agree with what you are saying. Although, I'm not sure that the doctors care and the pharmaceutical companies are the biggest contributors to political campaigns. Basically, they own the politicians.

Re: Bella (# 110) Expand Referenced Message

Im allergic to iodine, dyes. The other stuff that is formaldehyde has to be taken out. No reason it should be in there at all. I cant even eat Lemon Cake or anything yellow in food. The 7.5 Camber oxycodone/326 is the dye #6 and the 10/325 with imprint is 194. A very strange looking yellow.. #10

Here's the link to Crospovidone wikipedia:

wikipedia.org/wiki/Polyvinylpyrrolidone

A lot of so-called inert ingredients are harmful, the FDA knows it and looks the other way numerous times. They'll usually claim the amount is so small that it's irrelevant, but then a lot of these ingredients are showing up in autopsies, so how irrelevant is that? The FDA is just another part of the enormous government swamp... You take anything for a long period of time and these so-called irrelevant ingredients become very relevant!

Re: Lildarlin (# 116) Expand Referenced Message

I'm so confused at this point. I just know that this is not the first time I have had a bad reaction to generic drugs. Although this being one of the worst. I think if more doctors would do genetic evaluations of enzymes it would help. These diagnostics can produce your drug responses and make our medicines safer. Instead, my complaints have been ignored or I'm told, "some people do just fine on that medication". Our genetic makeups are ALL different. Who knows; maybe insurance doesn't cover something that would actually help us.

Yesssss! Mine same. Inconsistant coloring of lemon yellow to dark randomly per pill. No moisture has been near it. Very bizarre.

Re: MeJane (# 109) Expand Referenced Message

I'm very scared as to what's happening to my body. There hasn't been one day that I haven't been so sick to my stomach since Jan. 23, 2018. I don't know what it's like to be comfortable in the way of not feeling so sick. My pain is soaring because I believe the inactive ingredients override the effects of pain relief. I am shaking uncontrollably. It scares me as if my nervous system is damaged. I don't know what my pain mgmt. Doc is going to say if I'm having a very shaky spell. My phenergan was called in for nausea but it doesn't help much because it makes me so sleepy. I just take it at bedtime. The rest of the day I'm so very nausea and right now my head feels like an axe is stuck in it. I want us to all be well and no lasting side effects. I'm scared for us. We need to start a petition but I don't know how to do that. This company may say NJ, but it's out of India. India sends their medications. I don't like that. So NO means nothing. Everybody there speaks Indian and I can't understand them. We are America. Why are we buying foreign medicines anyway? I'm just so scared the way my body feels. I'm not the same person I was before Jan 23, '18. My muscles are wasting away!! Something is causing that. It's visible in some places. My stomach is making noises like it's growling but I think it's my stomach trying to reject this camber oxycodone/apap. I don't know what to do. Please help me. I'm so scared and in pain I can stop crying. I feel like I'm losing my mind!! :(
