Just got Camber Pharm generic Percocet at Walgreens instead of the Actavis brand. It's giving me an upset stomach and causing me to feel weird. Has anyone else had a similar reaction?

Re: Bella (# 197) Expand Referenced Message

My stomach is still having major problems. The camber caused my stomach to be one huge ulcer that I had breeding from. Medication for stomach is very slowly helping and since I was back on actavis, I have no upper stomach bleeding but it's healing very slow. I've never had anything to cause my upper stomach problems in my life. I didn't need this on top of all I'm already going through with severe pain from lots of broken bones and some things can never be fixed. I've accepted I have to live with extreme chronic pain as most if u all here but again, I did not ask for my stomach to be turned inside out. Percocet camber made me so sick, on some says I ate baby food. Yes, baby food. That's all my stomach could handle. My diet when on camber was mostly sugar free ice cream. Out of the 30 days I was on the camber, I was out of bed only 4 days. That is not pain management. Pain management is to help us live our lives and do the best we can. Not stay in bed. That is not me. I have about 25 camber pills here locked up in a safe after I was told they smelled like "hard apple cider" and not take another one from a professional and i didn't. The pharmacist (second professional) backed up the strong vinegar cider smell. It was like pouring hard cider on my stomach. I can't imagine ever putting one if those back in my stomach and I never will. We all should never be looked down on, and we must be treated with respect in the drug store. After all my scripts are written by one of the best, the strictest PM doc and I like the pill count and drug panel every 30 days. And believe me...he's very smart. Ones who don't like it do not have true chronic pain. Common sense. Didn't mean to get off topic. Accent and camber called me. They were the third ones who told me NOT TO TAKE THEIR CAMBER BRAND AND TAKE THE LETTER TO MY DOC AND PHARMACIST. THEY KNEW HOW SICK IT WAS MAKING ME. ACCENT PHARMACUTUCLES MAKES THE PERCOCET FOR CAMBER. I have the letter. Wish it could be posted but it can't. God Bless us all.

Obviously you are a rep for this manufacturer or an FDA , Gov’t etc surveyor to see if the “secret NEW FORMULA” for all generic percocet companies “experimenting” using us as guinea pigs unbenounced to us legal chronic pain patients, a test pill removing the desirable effects that attract ADDICTS, ABUSER’s who take this med for a “high!” in your efforts to conquer this opiod “crisis.” Percocet was MADE FOR US legitimately taking this med for a comfortable, at least tolerable level of pain to at least function a somewhat normal life after exhausting years of failed surgeries, procedures &/or terminal illness pain. To inflict these horrible side effects on us is barbaric.

Lildarlin.....Oh, how I hate auto correct!! I did not mean humor and cutesy......I meant humor and courtesy!!! Courtesy. Cutesy??? Now that would just be stupid, lol. If they ask for more details, I could go on a rant about auto correct, huh?

Lil, I just have to ask this. I asked elsewhere, but know you did not see it. First I think it is so sad that a med that you use is not only up to standard but actually makes you sick, like Camber T-194 did to you and many others!

My question is: why did you take it for the month. Was it fear of withdrawl? That would be most logical, but it seems you, poor girl, went backwards. Not only did you spend a month without your accustomed pain relief, but you endured such foul effects from it. Your suffering was very evident in each of your posts. Yet you still managed a slight humor and cutesy to others. Good woman. Still, I wondered why you took it for the month. Again, I suspect it was to stave off withdrawl. With every post I wanted to yell....throw those suckerso out, LIL!!!!! LOL. No reason for you to respond, other than to satisfy my curiosity. Not sure what I would have done in your predicament. I may have just dealt with the withdrawl. But you know your body, would withdrawl have been WORSE than the suffering you endured? Looking back, do you wish you had done things differently?

I will certainly stay on my toes. No one is going to feed me those nasty Camber T 194's. No how, no way. But I know how my withdrawl feels. I know how I would feel. Not as bad, surely, not as bad as you suffered. God bless you and I enjoyed your periodic updates, Lil. JMJ

One more question; when did you start taking it? Maybe they have changed the formula recently. All I know is that Im back on the Actavis and would not want to take a chance again with Camber; unless the inactive ingredients were disclosed to me. Of course these generic drug companys are not required to disclose these ingredients and you have to work to find the info. It should be illegal.

Well, that's great. I'm curious though; how did find this particular site? The only way I came upon Medchat problems with Camber Percocet (specifically), was to indicate that I was having a problem with the drug. Otherwise; If I just googled Camber percocet, then I just got hype and advertisement about the Company and information that they had recently (in September I believe) were announcing that they were now manufacturing generic percocet. When first taking the drug, I knew immediately that something was wrong. I have been following this site since January of this year and you are the first to say you have no problem with the drug. Also, there are other sites where people are venting about their serious side effects. I wouldn't be here if I were feeling good. I have way more important things to do.

I wouldn't be on this site talking about my perks if they were working as they did at a point and time. I'm sure most of you wouldn't be either and most of the people on here are having the same problem as I. What do you think MEJANE, are you having a problem with new perks or do you think they are the best thing since Coke Cola like maybe 2 people on this site? Makes you wonder what they are doing on this site if everything's so great and they are feeling soooo gooood.

I'm currently taking the camber brand with no issues. They work fine for me. Many people I've spoke with said the same, no problems.

Re: Chicken George (# 185) Expand Referenced Message

No Im not filing with the FDA (medwatch). Im not sure but I think it would be more effective if the your doctor did. They dont want to be bothered with. I do wish you the best of luck with that though.

Re: Chicken George (# 185) Expand Referenced Message

I filed a complaint to the FDA. My primary complaint was the dye. I have an allergy and their website and initial allergen information had this drug listed as "dye free" yet listed the dyes in the ingredients. Luckily I read both sections. They use a different color for each. I was taking the 5/325 prior to my surgery which Camber's version has blue dye. Luckily i took screenshots of everything because after filing my complaint, Camber me an email stating their ingredients and allergen info did call out dyes. They had changed it. And more than just the dye free issue. I sent them the screenshot and called them out on it. I'm just thankful my allergy is not life-threatening. But it's scary because if they're careless with listing allergen info they could kill somebody. From what everybody has been writing I'm pretty sure these pills are full of everything except the medication they should contain.

Re: Marv (# 179) Expand Referenced Message

You can't find any pharmacy that has the Actavis? Someplace other than Walgreen's?

Guess I am lucky because my Walgreens has brought it back in after many complaints.

Re: Marv (# 179) Expand Referenced Message

I'm truly sorry that your suffering like that. I think someone mentioned on this site recently that the surgeon general informed them that they had no jurisdiction over the FDA. Not sure about that. Everybody likes to pass the buck. I read an article a while back about reporting to the FDA; while sick on the Camber. It mentioned how complicated they make it. What a surprise huh!! They require some code for each inactive ingredient. I forget what else it said but I've dealt with similar govt forms before and whatever it said, was enough to make me say; "screw it".

Now, I did write to my local senator in Ca. last night. I sent him a couple of links that had very articulate comments from people. I had a few more things to say. Certainly could have said more but it was a start. We shall see if I hear anything. Also, got a call today from the manufacturer of Camber (not the pharmaceutical co.) to call them about my complaint. I don't even recall giving them my number. The woman had an Indian accent. I didn't get a chance to call back today but will try to get to it tomorrow.

Re: Marv (# 179) Expand Referenced Message

I feel your frustration. I too am so frustrated at the lies and bs that is going on for the sake of cleaning up this "opioid crisis". Our lives were holding somewhat steady following the program, now we are being thrown into the swamp to be flushed, being fed lies (i.e. There's nothing wrong with the new drug, it's all in your head, pain pills don't work after 6 weeks, on and on). My head is spinning, my heart is skipping, my stomach is churning, my head is pounding. The pain, did I mention the pain? I picked up my new (W. ordered actavis back for me) pain pills & they are a bit better than those poison cambers, but doing absolutely nothing for the pain, soooo freaking frustrated. I don't know what to do. Yes, let's do something, complain to who, who is going to take heart and decide that chronic pain is REAL and the people that have it are suffering? Ok let's all go to our happy place, ommmmm. Happy chronic pain, isn't that an oxymoron!!! Oxy, oh that's funny.

Re: Marv (# 179) Expand Referenced Message

I did report my issue with Camber's generic Percocet to the FDA. You just have to go to their website and fill out a form. But i've had a representative from Ascent Pharmaceuticals, which I assume is maybe the parent company of Camber emailing me nonstop since. And at first I couldn't fill out the form since I was in the hospital after having surgery on my spine. And she emailed me daily. Then gave me a number I could call to answer their questions and it just rang and rang. In my opinion they are a joke. And don't care about the consumer, only themselves.

Ladies and gents, fellow chronic pain sufferers, we MUST unite and send this to HHS, FDA, drug companies, White House, surgeon gen, and anyone else you can think of. I am sick and tired of putting up with the GENERIC crap and prior auth BS for something that works. I'm tired of feeling like a criminal when I fill my script in order to have somewhat of a pain-free existence. I see we have some knowledgeable people here so we need to brainstorm this and come up with a plan and course of action. Right now it's close to three A.M. I'm not due for another pain pill till four and my sciatica and neuropathy are white hot. Let's get busy....and save ourselves a lot of suffering. Thanks.
