Calcium Deposit, Calcium & Magnesium Gluconate, Calcium Hydroxycitrate

I was just shown an xray of my shoulder joint (the ball) that showed a calcium deposit creating excruciating pain. Tendinitis was also indicated.... inflammation. I was told I needed to see an orthopedic surgeon...cortisone IV, I'm assuming, or surgery. I wanted to know if calcium & magnesium gluconate (Calm) or hydroxycitrate will irritate or further my condition? I'm taking Motrin 800 ml & Aleve. I had a deposit on the other shoulder, years ago that was dissolved by an IV never to return :) . I prefer to go with a holistic-natural remedy/cure but the pain is debilitating....sigh. I don't want to add to or create more distress.

I have read that Quercitin, bromelain, turmeric, ginger, and Omega-3's are good for my condition. Are there any contraindications in combining these with the Motrin and Aleve, and am I on the right track? Thank you for your consideration and help.

Hello, Anastasia! How are you? I'm very sorry about the pain that you're in.

As to the calcium, it can be very funny stuff, while we do need a good bit of it, too much can cause problems, so I'd suggest checking with your doctor regarding this matter.

When it comes to supplements, they are not evaluated for interactions with certain medications and or medical conditions, so that information isn't known.

And are you taking the Motrin and Aleve at the same time, or alternating them?
