oval aqua blue shape with ALVA on one side and the number 1 on the other side ## this is Diurex, a bloat relief pill, often used for weight loss. It is the caffeine free version and contains ONLY Pamabrom 50mg. ## This identification is correct. Pamabrom is a diuretic that's available in several over the counter products to treat the bloating that's often associated with PMS. Anyone that has any medical conditions and/or takes any medications regularly should check before taking this to make sure it is safe for them, since it may interact with some medications or be contraindicated with some medical conditions. Additionally, since it is a diuretic that removes fluid from the body, there is the risk of dehydration. Is there anything I can help with? There are more Pamabrom detai...

I've been taking these for nearly 15 years. When the FDA changed the amount of acetaminophen in the pills to 325 or 300 mg (they lowered it, in any case) the manufacturer, since the amount of acetaminophen was changed, used it as an opportunity to say it is no longer a generic so... I no longer take fioricet. I now take butalbitol/caffeine/acetaminophen. If I ask my insurance for Fioracet it costs $350 a month for 60, the B/C/A costs $35.. go figure BUT my main problem is this: the old tablets I got were Qualitest, they were round and greenish blue, they were no problem! HOWEVER, now I am getting some large oblong white caplet that is so chalky I regularly choke on them. At least once a week one stops in my throats and it takes a while to get it down. A few weeks ago one stopped rig...

This is a large round white pill with markings only on one side. It's imprinted with a N and a C and is partially scored between the letters. I was prescribed this medication while in Singapore and although I know it's a muscle relaxer with caffeine added, which is randon, I can't remember what the prescribing Dr said the muscle relaxant was. Anyone familiar?? Thanks!

I found a round peach color pill with 299 on one side and something on the back ## Hi friend, Given the description provided, the closest match I could find was a white round pill imprinted with "299" on one side and blank on the other. Turns out this is an OTC pill containing 100mgs of Caffeine. You mentioned that there's "something" on the back of the pill though. Is there any way you can elaborate on that a bit? You can learn more about this drug on the page for Caffeine Details Hope this info helps! ## Percocet 7.5 MG oxycodone-apap / 325 MG acetaminophen

Round yellow pill with capital p on one side line on other what is this ## found a yellow round pill with a p on front and a line on back what is this ## I'm sorry, I can't find a listing for this in any of the prescription drug resources that I've checked. That fact, coupled with the marking leads me to suspect that this is most likely an over the counter product of some type. Where did you find it? Some products are regional, so knowing the general location may help to narrow it down. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? ## Ive searched and searched, cannot find this pill for nothing! I have an unmarked glass prescription bottle full of them. Anyone find out what it is? ## If it's kinda larger round pill it's probably OTC caffeine pill called Vivarin

I do not understand "why" you can't get x112 in the U.S, it makes diet stuff in U.S look like a joke!! I think it should be up to the person if they want the x112!!! It's the best without side effects!! Why does the food & drug adm. take our freedom of choice? ## Hi Kim, I totally understand your frustration. I personally feel that the FDA can do more harm than good in some situations. I've never heard of this diet supplement that you speak of, but I also believe that diet supplements can only give you a temporary boost and not solve the real issues at hand. The reason one may be searching for a diet pill in the first place is because poor eating habits and/or lack of exercise has led to undesirable weight gain. The solution, obviously is to do the opposite of wh...

I too am feeling slight lower stomach pain after 1 week of taking ocid dsr. Gastroenterologist did not seem too concerned abt this. He asking me to take this twice a day for at least a month for my gerd in addition to the following home remedies: Drinking turmeric powder with pepper in some hot water after dinner. Also asked me to take a pinch of large fenugreek seeds to help in digestion and to take my dinner earlier. I find that reducing caffeine and chocolates help too. What are the ingredients in Optalidon and is it addictive? ## Hi Gail, From what I could find, caffeine and propyphenazone are reported to be the two active ingredients in "Optalidon N". Neither are a narcotic or opioid, but propyphenazone does have pain relieving and fever reducing properties. As far as addiction is concerned, we all know that caffeine can be abused. However, when it comes to the other ingredient propyphenazone, I haven't come across any specific details stating whether it's addictive/habit forming or not. Though, if you take it as prescribed there really shouldn't be any problems with that?

I have been taking fiorcet for years to relieve "aura" migraine headaches. The problem I am facing is the amount of caffeine in said medication. Would Cephadyn 650/50 be s better medication to take because, from what I have read, it does not contain caffeine at all? Please help!!! ## Hello, Lisha! How are you? Yes, if the caffeine is causing you problems, it could be a better option. Cephadyn is listed by the FDA as containing just Acetaminophen and Butalbital. Typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. It wouldn't hurt to ask your doctor about it. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hi everyone, my girl friend started taking these last week and started getting some headaches so she decided to stop. Has anyone else tried these and did they get any good results? She wants to use them to help her lose weight but doesn't like the headaches. Is it a normal side effect of this? Any other advice? ## Was she drinking enough water? Dehydration is a common cause of headaches and diet pills tend to cause it. You have to drink lots of water whenever taking supplements like this. ## I am seeing that ACE diet pills contain the following ingredients [1]: Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Chromium, Vanadium, and a "Proprietary ACE blend" of Green Tea Extract, Phenylethylamine (PEA), Trimethylxanthine, Theobromine, Methylsynepherine, Raspberry Ketone (Raztone), Green Coffee Bean...
