Cipla Bupropion Hcl Xl Meeting Wellbutrin Xl Bioequivalence?

CIPLA got approval from the FDA to produce their generic version of Wellbutrin XL on August 30, 2016. I have made an inquiry to CIPLA as to whether their approval also means that they met the bioequivalence testing that other generic manufacturers had to comply with after Teva/Impax was pulled off the market in Sept. 2012 -- and Actavis (now owned by Watson) was removed Oct. 2013. [Second Generic Version of Popular Antidepressant to be Pulled from Market for Bioequivalency Issues]. Not sure if they have this problem corrected. Anyone know about Cipla or Watson/Actavis?

Furthermore, it's come to my attention that Teva recently acquired Actavis (Watson) back in August 2016. So it may be that Teva is the one to contact if inquiring about Actavis/Watson (?). Teva's customer service can be reached at: 888-TEVA-USA (888-838-2872) or via email at: [email protected].
