Cdc Guidelines For Pain Clinic. Reduced Dosage Pending

The new CDC guidelines are in effect, causing my pain specialist to dramatically reduce my Opana ER and prn oxymorphone from 10mgs/ER BID to 5mgs/bid and keep the IM oxymprohone at 60/10mg tabs for 60 days. My understandibg is that it can be increased to a more therapeutic level after empilirical documentation that the 60/mg morphine/day is not providing the needed relief. I need an increase now! Not a reduction!!! How long must a person sustain personal viability before getting g a therapeutic dosage!?

Go to change.org and sign the petition to make chronic pain sufferers exempt from CDC restrictions on schedule 2 drugs.
There are a few other similar petitions as well. One is for a "pain card" to allow ease in getting meds needed.
