My lost weight on the past 3months and one her colegues advised her to take purbac pills we r both neggative is it a good idea to use purbac in case someone lose weight

Hi I was fully blown my CD4 count was 37 n doctor gave me purbac,isentrrss.,Alicia.tyricten. then wen n I was having the lapses on my neck. Now my CD4 count is 546 they stopped to give me purbac now the assess started is that possible to go back to doctor to gave me purbac again pls advice me

You don't have to be HIV positive to take this medication, it is actually just an antibiotic that's used to treat or prevent bacterial infections. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash, headache and diarrhea.

That said, no, it will not help someone to gain weight and you shouldn't take it, unless your have an infection. Taking it improperly creates the risk of your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria.
