Can I Treat Sti With Austell-azithromycin And Doxytet

Hi.. I went to the clinic because my vigina was itchy and i started developing pimples and the cracks... and then when I got to the clinic the doctor didn't check me he just said I have an STI and he gave me 2 tablets of Austell-Azithromycin and i drank them while I was at the clinic and he also gave me Doxytet to drink at home and he also said I should stop drinking and eating diary products... Any advise??

These are both antibiotics that are used to treat bacterial infections, so they can help with some STIs. The U.S. FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

The concern, however, is that you may not have had a bacterial STI. With the itching, it may be a yeast infection and, in that case, antibiotics may actually make it worse.

Is there a doctor you can see that will actually do an exam?
