Bystolic And Memory Loss
UpdatedMy mother has been taking Bystolic 5 mg for a few years. She has also had problems with short term memory loss in that same time period. The memory problem is worsening and I'm worrying that she might be taking the Bystolic twice. If it has caused the memory issues to start with, a double dose would be a very bad thing. Has anyone else connected Bystolic with memory loss? There are mentions of it on numerous sites, but they all say don't go off Bystolic on your own. Any thoughts??

Hello, Becky! How are you?
How old is your mother?
NO, that is not a known side effect of the Bystolic.
Is she on any other medications? Have you tried observing her take them to make sure she doesn't double up?
