Taking 5 mg Bystolic. Can Bystolic lower your neutrophils/granuocytes (lower white blood cells that fight bacteria) and lower total white blood count? I have developed mild neutropenia since taking Bystolic, noticed 7 months following first taking the drug and it has continued to now (4 years later) but my doctor does not know of this side effect.

Also noticed my cholesterol increased and (total and LDL). When I cut it down some (to 3/4 pill my cholesterol lowered)

Hello, California! How are you?

No, that is not a known side effect of this medication.

However, the elevated cholesterol is a known side effect.

It might be a good idea to talk to your doctor about trying a different medication, then rechecking both in a few months to see if they are resolved, or not.

Is there anything else I can help with?
