3 month old chihuahua licked the outside of pill called busbar 30mg, she is laying with me whimpering, heart rate 120 to 130/minute, lungs are clear, no rales or rohchi. she is drooling a bit, is walking around and wagging tail, but nervous. Need to know what I can do or if I have to take her in now (middle of night) is buspirone HCL 30MG TOXIC?

Buspirone, the active ingredient in Buspar is also used in cats and dogs, although, since she is such a small dog, she might still have gotten too much and you should contact your vet.

I am not familiar with the use of medications in animals, so I am not certain what is a safe dosages or any associated dangers.
