Burping Egg Taste From Percocet 10/325

I have chronic pancreatitis and have been on percocets for over 2 years. I was started on the 5/325 mg ones. My doc increased them to the 7.5/325 and now I am on the 10/325. I have never had burping as a side effect with any of them until now with the 10/325. It's not really bothersome and I am more curious than anything to know what the heck is in these ones that I taste scrambled eggs, or sulfur when I burp. I am curious to know if anyone else has experienced this? I am going to see if I can locate the manufacturer (it's a generic). That might give me an answer :)

Percocet 10/325 mg, 4829, yellow, oblong, manufacturer is Qualitest Pharmaceuticals. I checked and did not see any sulfur product. Maybe its the FD&C yellow dye?

What are the markings on them? That would enable me to locate the name of the manufacturer and check the inactive ingredients for you. There's a chance that there is something sulfur based in them that's causing it.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
