HEY DOES ANYBODY KNOW ANY PAIN PATCHES THAT START WITH THE LETTER N ## Hi Wormie, Based on my research, Norspan patch (buprenorphine) is the only relevant match I'm finding that begins with a letter N. The manufacturer advertises it towards treating chronic severe pain when lower doses of strong opioids are being considered. However, further notes from the Rational Assessment of Drugs and Research (RADAR) suggest that more familiar opioids such as morphine are generally more preferred for managing chronic pain since they also tend to offer a broader range of dosages and formulations. I hope this helps!

I take Suboxen everyday and have to take a blood toxicology drug test? Will it show up? If so, how long should I wait before I take the test to have it come out clean? ## There are blood tests that can detect it, but at this time the Buprenorphine in Suboxone is still too new and there are no time levels known for how long it may be detectable in a blood sample. Learn more Suboxone details here. If you are taking it by legal prescription, then you just need to inform them of that, when you go in for testing. Does anyone else have an idea of how long it's detectable in blood? ## is there a way to find out if the test I will take will show it? ## I took a urine drug test and it showed up twice and I do not take suboxin Went to my Med. Doc and wanted a blood panel. He said it only is d...

I had to change my drug workers as new area so now these criminal based d.wks have control over me. I am now on 4mgs buprenorphine & have also stopped prozac. Thats it although prescribed 12mg. I'm an older woman & not a criminal & came off all kinds 8/10 years ago. I'm never given a drug panel unless i see my shrink 3/4 times a year. I have to see my wkr every month & have to get my script delivered to my door every week as i cant get out. I'm degraded every time my neighbors see a chemist guy with a big bright c d sticker on it. I feel like I must move now as i'm too embarrassed. I am ill & in pain but cant get out for help. Do I have any rights at all? please advise.

Generic name starts with a pill has 156 on one side and logo on other says its 2 mg ## Hello, Monty! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Actavis and they list it as containing 2mgs of Buprenorphine. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I found a Baggie of pills. They are oblong in shape with rounded edges. Off white in color. No markings or scorings. Could this just be a vitamin or something else? ## Yes, it may be a vitamin, or one of several other over the counter options. We can probably rule it out as being a prescription medication, since in the U.S. they are all required to have any imprint to enable their identification. However, there is a chance that it may be a foreign medication, in which case such laws do not apply. Where were they found? ## I suffer bad anxeity my gp wont prescribe any sort of anti anxeity, due to me been on buprenorphine, i find that people who don't need certain meds manage to get them prescribed (diazepam) etc. I've been looking on net. I cant seem to find a site I can trust as...

I have been on buprenorohine 8mg, 3 times a day for the last 3 years for pain management. I have fibromyalgia, chronic back pain, and other pain issues. I have a current health issue causing me increased pain. So bad that nothing is helping with the pain. I was given 10mg norco to take for the pain. I have been off the buprenorohine for the last 27 hours. Can I take the norco and get any pain relief? If yes, how many should I take? Or do I have to wait longer? ## Hi Sam, I've seen this type of question come up a lot on here, and often see responses indicating that it's generally best to wait several days (e.g. 4-5 days) in-between Buprenorphine and other narcotic pain relievers such as Norco (Hydrocodone/APAP) - in order to be able to feel its effects. Seeing that you've wai...

Hello I was on methodone from three years I started with 110 mg in the last 10 months I've whe send myself down to 60 mg of methodone to switch to buprenorphine. It's been 5 days on it and I still don't know how much to take, I can't sleep at night at all, no appetite, I'm extremely depressed and in need of immidiately advice I texted my doctor and all he said is go to the ER please help!! ## Hello, Naomi! How are you doing? Are you on straight Buprenorphine or are you on the generic for Suboxone that also contains Naloxone? What dosage are you currently taking? What dosage did your doctor prescribe? This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, drowsiness and constipation. ## I was...

Lets just say its the most evil drug I have used and was eluded to believe it was good for me. No names shall be named and the DEA is aware of Butro. God knows who you are out there that marke this crap. Evil does exist in this world and it is sick. May this person of whom markets these miracle drugs ahem find the way and accept Jesus in heart as Lord and Savior . God Bless You All. - Bring Light Into The Darkness, One Step At A Time. ## It's sad that you think this way. I was an opiate addict for a long time and had tried every different way to get clean. And butro is the only thing that has ever worked for me and helped me stay clean. ## Just to add another opinion, I actually agree with Anna (post #1) on both her points, more notably in that Butro (Buprenorphine HCL) has helped m...

Hi, my name is jay and i also was prescribed this pill. I know what it is and what it does but I was wondering if it has an opiate blocker like the D155 or the octagon one? ## Hello, Jay! How are you? Yes, this tablet is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 8mgs of Buprenorphine and 2mgs of Naloxone, which is the blocker. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have chronic degenerative disc disease; buprenorphine makes bile rise. Vicodin (Narco) works now since I took it over 12 yrs ago. I recently left my CP doc because he refused to prescribe adequate pain meds. Am looking authentic pain med doc/clinic in Boulder CO who will believe how much pain I'm in without my having to cry. ## A new dr will want to get a copy of your medical records from your previous dr. You crying won't convince a dr you're in pain.

If i was concerned that my daughter might be shooting this type of pill, what would I be seeing? ## This tablet contains 8mgs of Buprenorphine, which is a very potent narcotic, it is used in both Subutex and Suboxone and this is a sublingual tablet, so there'd really be no need to take it via injection, it's designed to dissolve under the tongue and work fast. Learn more Buprenorphine details here. The effects would be similar to that of other narcotics, drowsy, dizzy, pinpoint eyes and etc. Has she been known to shoot stuff up? ## if so it would be hard to notice physical symptoms since they're probably use to seeing her high all the time on a much more powerful opioid. I was a H addict for 8 years and I'm still on subutex. its been two years now. in the beginning i kne...

Buprenorphine, used to treat severe pain. Buprenorphine is also used to treat opiate addiction, however its first use was as an analgesic. ## Need to fill my prescription for Temgesic, I am in Nicaragua, near Rivas. Anyone know where to go to get it here? Must have for ongoing issues, this stuff saved my life. Thanks ## I am desperately looking for options for the treatment of severe pain from Atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia and herniated disc in back as well as separated shoulder. Does anyone know where to find temgesic as I am trying to get off other crazy expensive medications? I am in need of 2mg Xanax, subutex, and fioracet as well. I have been taking buprenorphine for almost a year and everything has been fine with me and my levels. The counselor does random drug tests. I have been taking 12 mg a day since may. In July, I was supposed to be able to start taking two weeks worth of medicine home (i was taking one weeks home) and the counselor noticed the percentage of my meds. Went from 75% to 16% this went on for 2 drug screens. They started having me come in to take my medicine in front of them and over a month is has went up to 56%. They think I was not taking my medication and from an outsiders point of view I can totally see that, but I have always taken it because I truly need it and do not want to relapse. At this point I am being accused of not taking it, which is not the case. Does anyone know of any reason...

i take anywhere from1/2 to a whole suboxene daily. How long are they in your system? ## Buprenorphine.com, a non-profit division of the U.S. National Institutes of health, states that Suboxone has a half-life of 24-60 hours. This means that the drug has the potential to control opioid cravings over that time span. Half-life here means that, say, 30 hours after ingesting Suboxone, half of the active amount will be gone. This doesn't mean that 30 hours later, though, the other half will be gone. At that point half of the remainder will be gone, then another half after the same time interval, and so on, until the drug is eliminated from the body. Many medical experts agree that after about 5 half lives, the drug is completely out of your system; although I'm sure it varies to some d...

teva says they are shipping product as of 12-02-2013 but can not find them any where. ## Hello, Vez! I'm sorry, I thought I'd already answer your post, I must've been mistaken. Just because they are shipping them doesn't mean that any pharmacy is obligated to have it in stock. They will usually carry the one from whatever manufacturer was offering the cheapest price at whatever time they needed to restock their supply. Have you tried asking if your pharmacy can order it in for you? ## I recently came across some 2 mg Teva (subutex generics) at a Walmart on the east coast (US). I found three round white pills with 155 on one side and a capital C or half moon shape on the other side. I think this is for opiate addiction do they help with pain? and what is the dosage if you have lowed your tolerance tremendalously. ## Hello, ReeRee! How are you? Yes, they contain 8mgs of Buprenorphine and 2mgs of Naloxone, the active ingredients in Suboxone, which is most commonly used to treat drug addiction. They can help with pain, but should not be taken if you aren't tolerant to narcotics or if you've taken any other narcotics recently, because the Naloxone in them could throw you into dangerous withdrawals. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and const...

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, since you didn't mention a dosage or anything. Can you please post back and clarify? Thank you! The one with the marking you mentioned contains 8mgs of Buprenorphine and 2mgs of Naloxone. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Hello, Me and my husband have using Buprenorphine more than one year, before we were on Methadone. Does Buprenorphine have the same ingredients and effects as Suboxone have? I wanna know if Buprenorphine blocks cocaine effects? Since we are on Buprenorphine, cocaine doesn't work at all. Why? Some people write that Suboxone does not blocks cocaine, they even use it both together. We use Bupren not Suboxone and I realy like to know which one is better and why Bupren blocks cocaine, 'cause we feel no effects of cocaine at all. What can we do, 'cause we really wish to have cocaine for a new year or even before?! What can we do? Please let me know why Cocaine doesn't works on Bupren? Would we feel the real effects of cocaine if we use Suboxone instead Bupren? Help me please ...
