You cannot take Bunavail within 72 hours of taking other opiates, doing so may throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals, so you should follow your doctor's instructions for when to start it.

The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
