Bronkaid Tablet Availability

Are we sure that bronkaid tablets haven't been taken off the market in some areas? I went to 3 different drug stores today, in Columbus County, North Carolina, to purchase, and there was an empty shelf where they once were. Not even the pharmacists could say whether they had been discontinued.
For those who were distraught about Primatene Mist being pulled off the market in 2011, it appears to have been re-released as an over the counter inhaler with the same active ingredient:

Bronkaid is still manufactured. You can get it at many pharmacies behind the pharmacy counter.
I just bought a 60 count box in Naples, FL at Walgreens.
Don
Are you still taking these? I too take this many and would love to chat with you about it.
I have tried two different pharmacies in NC today and both had the product but when they scanned my driver license I was told they couldn't sell it to me because the DEA's system was down and couldn't verify approval. Unbelievable, I need approval from the DEA to buy a box of Bronkaide.
I take bronkaid for my asthma I didn't have insurance and going to the er was getting expensive I take 2 a day or as needed I haven't used my inhaler in weeks only bad side is if you grab a coffe or something the jitters are real don't over do it
I have been clean and sober for three years. Having said that do not hold out for hope. Some people get it and some people do not. If u wanna talk to me about it write back.
Where are you buying these bronkaid? I thought they were gone.
Yes, they do the same thing to legit chronic pain patients with pain scripts. Gonna get some bronkaid today because lungs hurt and have bad infections. Curious to see if I get attitude. I mostly ignore it now. People love to judge and won't change until they walk in the shoes, and then they will beg not to be judged.
6/4/16 Just bought a bottle of 60 at a CVS in Florida (Tampa bay area). Heard it helps with sinus problems.
I just bought bronchaid 60 count box at CVS in Philadelphia, PA. Its back on the market. Just in time for me because I needed it for bad cold and bronchitis...
I went to all locations in my city in michigan and all bronkaid and primatene tablets have been pulled for unknown reasons.
Can u get Bronkaid or primatine in NY
lifelolng asthmatic, bronkaid and primetine tablets were once called Tedral, a prescription asthmatic medication, basically ephedrine and is adrenalin..... if you were to go to the ER for an asthma attack they would shoot you up with adrenalin in small levels until you were clear, (would be anxious for a couple days after that because of the up effect), the Tedral or Bronkaid is so you don't have to use a sprayer as much, you are sort of covered for hours, anyway at 63 and taking it all my life in the prescription form and over the counter since maybe 1970, my kidneys and liver tested like a 35 year old, don't know if it is the constant walking I do to clear my lungs or the constant slight increase in metabolism that renews stuff..... side effects may be similar to uppers, not as easy going, possibly slightly impulsive, more aware of surroundings than a comfortable person may be... voila
my husband is super addicted and in denial. our life is a roller coaster and I'm ready to get off. have you been successful of staying off? did you ever drink vodka with them as well? he seems to do that too. nightmare
Don't take any drugs or pills or vitamins, all these are extremely dangerous.
Just learn about foods . Vegetable and fermented foods like polish sauerkraut ,kefir and buttermilk .
I just recently found out I have bronchitis and asthma. I have an inhaler to use but it isn't exactly always convenient. Was thinking about trying bronkaid, but after reading some of these posts wondering if it's worth the trouble, and kind of scared of getting addicted. Advice from someone with asthma who isn't just abusing it would be appreciated
Actually Bronkaid is sold in CVS. I don't think they stopped selling it. I bought a 60 pack about a week ago so I would check there.
I have been taking bronkaid for about 8 years now. Everyday I take 60 pills and I am concerned with what this might be doing to my body long term? What is it going to do to my liver or kidneys from taking so many everyday for so long? I know it can't be good. If anyone has any idea that would be helpful. Thanks
In Canada, pure, unadulterated (no ridiculous 16:1 ratio of useless guaifenesin) ephedrine is freely sold in GNC (Kaizen 8mg, among others). You can buy as much as you want, completely anonymously. Last I checked, Canada had yet to turn into a methamphetamine lab wasteland like LE has assured us would happen here. Citizens are not dropping like flies from stimulant-induced heart attacks. Oh, and they still provide free health care.
Kind of tells you pretty much everything you need to know about the U.S. restrictions on ephedrine.
