Bronkaid Tablet Availability (Page 3)

Are we sure that bronkaid tablets haven't been taken off the market in some areas? I went to 3 different drug stores today, in Columbus County, North Carolina, to purchase, and there was an empty shelf where they once were. Not even the pharmacists could say whether they had been discontinued.

I suppose I'll have to stop breathing for a few months here, maybe in the meantime I can kick the habit totally.

Found some listed on ebay but they are asking 10 times the regular price for bronkaid. Its better just to wait till its back on the shelves at walmart and other stores that carry it. hopefully within a few weeks or less.

Just a note to let everyone know that Bronkaid is back on the shelves at some Walmart stores now. Its best to call your local store or go in person to check as their website does not give current info on if the item is in stock or not, I am not sure how often they update their website but I have found the info on Bronkaid at different stores to be outdated during the recent recall. Hopefully it will be in all stores soon if not already. Its best first to call your local store and find out.

I am from Findlay, Ohio.

You would need to call your local walmarts to find out as their website info on bronkaid is outdated on what stores have it in stock.

I am guessing most Walmarts should be getting it in stock soon if they don't already.

Some of the Meijers stores use to carry bronkaid too but not sure if they have it back in stock yet or not and their may be other stores that sell it also so you have to check around and call places to find out.

I emailed Bayer a couple times and the latest reply was that the stores should be stocked by the end of February, I just happen to be at the Walmart here today and checked and found out they had it back in stock.

hope this helps you out some, best thing is to call your local walmart and check and if they don't have it they may be able to check other stores within a certain distance from you.

I posted another response but it said it needed further review so that should be posted by tommorow I would think. Call your local walmart to see if they have it in stock and if not ask them if they can check other walmarts within your state, etc.

I have Been Takeing Bronkaid since it first Came out Before then Primatine was the only asthma medicine over the counter also the first inhaler I found Bronkaid to be much better Product However I am totally disappointed with Bayer for there lack of Care for there customers I rely on there Product and now it seems they are unreliable Primatine has never Been Pulled so I think its a Bunch of Bull that Bronkaid cannot get there act together I myself cannot afford a hospital visit becase Bayer wants to Play games with peoples Lives so I would suggest everyone to Look for a better option even if they have to start manufacturing it Legally and Give Bayer some competition so they are not so cocky with the way they treat People as I said Bronkaid is the only one I have seen pulled in the 30 plus years i have been taking it no other company seems to have this problem Primatine is a crappy Product maybe if they were influence to better their product then Bayer would have competition so Primatine its time to step up and give us a product that people will like better than Bronkaid from Bayer or someone else step up and make a product better than Bronkaid, Primatine does not realize when you cannot breath you need a pill to be accessible without using a chainsaw to open the packages to get the pills out then coat the product so it doesn't taste like poison and perhaps put two pills in one bubble pack so you don't have to get them out after a half hour of cutting your fingers opening the package is there no person or company that can do a better job than Bayer or Primatine Born with asthma dont need any more hassles

The reason Bronkaid was taken off the market was because some wording in the instructions/cautions was not going to meet new government standards. The company removed the product until the wording could be changed. Not an easy task - complying with government mandates! According to their website, they hope to be back around the end of March 2013

I have been in close contact with Bayer. It was recalled because of a labeling issue on the box. I have been told it will be back on the shelves by April 1, 2013. If you go to Bayer website, they have taken off the notice of the recall and issued $1 off coupons. They sent me a coupon for a free box of 60.

Bronkaid had been recalled in December, but was suppose to go back on the market at the end of February. I cannot find it anywhere. The tablets are so much better than primatene tabs which end up giving me the shakes. If I find them i will repost and let you know where to buy. I live in Virginia.

Bronkaid is available now in some walmarts. we have two walmarts here in town and the one has had it back in stock for about 2 months now while the other store does not have it back yet, that does not make any sense. Bayer might be overwhelmed wtih orders for bronkaid right now since the recall has taken so long for them to get the pills repackaged with the new wording on the packaging. People can contact bayer thru their website as they have a special section just for bronkaid if you look on their website.

Hi there. I live in Ohio, and just purchased Bronkaid from the pharmacy today. They made me show my drivers license and sign a book that keeps track of purchases of pills with any type of ephedrine in them. Apparently, they can be used to make meth. After just on pill (I have bronchitis) I felt my chest loosen up and the coughing reduced in about 25 minutes. But, they are available here in Ohio. Hope you find them.

The FDA/Bayer finds a reason to pull Bronkaid every year near the end of the year, usually b/c of packaging being mislabeled. Now the Walgreens I have always gotten it from says I have to have a prescription from my doctor to be able to get it from them anymore. Wal-Mart has it still but it is about half the amount that Walgreens used to have. Thanks Meth heads, my asthma in this humid state of Missouri really appreciates your drug addiction! :(

available in Ohio without prescription at walmarts and also at Rite Aid, not sure about other stores, Meijers use to carry them too but not sure if they still do or not. Rite Aid has the 60 count boxes. Some states must have different laws than others but keep checking around and on the internet too.

I wrote on here right around the time Bronkaid was taken off the shelves for the label. I was so desperate and distraught because I was taking 35 (aprx) a day. I turned to Primatine Tables - half the ephedrine than the Bronkaid, and more expensive. I WAS ADDICTED! (notice I said WAS). Anyone else going or go through this? It was the hardest thing to get off of. I was on them on and off for 10 years; I started them before they became only available behind the counter. This is a hard addiction to overcome, but after 7 days of detox and taking a vac. from work, I did it. Anyone else have or had this addiction? Thanks.

YES, wondered if I was the only one. So only 7 days, did you get out of bed at all. I am drained of all energy and seem to get very depressed when I am low. And I have not been on and off, just on for aprox. 20 years. It did not used to be a big deal but now with all the laws it sucks. Really wish people would mind their own and leave the rest of us alone.

Bronkaid is back on the market, but a lot of pharmacies that do stock it, CANNOT keep it stocked. Walgreens of Southwest VA still stocks Bronkaid, (as well as their own version of it; but does not work as well); CVS pharmacies have refused to put it back on their shelves in southwest Virginia. This time I will keep a strip hidden so If Walgreens does not have it on the shelf; I will have some on hand if needed. Also if Walgreens does not have it on hand, please request it; that company has no problem ordering it in.
