Brintellix 5 Mg/ Headache (Top voted first)

Hi,
My daughter is 16, she has always headache.. Our docktor have tried a lot of medication without any luck. Now she got Brintellix 5 mg. My daughter has still headache, even more. Have to say its only been a week. Now she skal duble the dose. What l want to know is; is it known to help headache also?

No, it doesn't help headaches. Topamax works great for chronic headaches. Trintellix works great for me and my depression. Hope it can help you daughter.

I suffered from massive headaches and Remeron helped me alot. I took it for 8 months and then slowly tapered off and stopped. There are dome studies that say it really help some types of headaches ... non migranous like the ones I had

Topamax was horrible for me. Used it for headaches. It gave me severe anorexia and put me in a black hole emotionally. I had to stop it after 5 days. Remeron helped alot with the headaches and also with insomnia. Bad part is that it makes you hungry. You have to be carefull with what you eat. If you have weight problem maybe not the best option
