Breathing Problems On Candesartan
UpdatedHi, I've been on candesartan for a few months and I'm experiencing difficulty in my breathing. I feel like I have a car on my chest. Is this normal?

Hello, Phil! How are you?
The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.
That said, having been on it for several years myself, I can say that no, that is not normal.
Have you consulted your doctor? Do you monitor your blood pressure regularly? Are you on any other medications? Do you minimize your salt intake?
