I have tried 5 different Blood Pressure Medications. All are giving me side effects of depression, loss of energy, trouble concentrating, joint pain, swelling, weight gain. Anyone here know of a Blood Pressure Medication with few side effects?

Hello, Julie! How are you?

I understand what you're going through. I rant the gamut of them myself, it took about a year to finally find ones that worked for me, without making me totally miserable.

Thus, the ones I suggest you speak to your doctor about are Atacand and Labetalol, with the latter being known to cause the least side effects. You may still experience some, short-term, such as nausea, dizziness and headache, but they usually wear off after a few weeks, as your body gets used to the medication.

Is there anything else I can help with?
