Bleeding On Angelique

I am on my second month of taking Angelique and have started bleeding like a dark discharge. Also quite emotional all the time. The only reason I wanted to go on this was because of my hot flushes. How long will the bleeding last and is there anything else I can take instead of hormone tabs?

Those can be normal side effects of HRT, according to the U.S. FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness and headache.

Some SSRI antidepressants can help alleviate such symptoms, for example, in the U.S., Prozac/Fluoxetine is often used in low doses. Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth.

It's something you could ask your doctor about trying.

I started taking angeliq four weeks ago and after a week I started getting achy breasts and stomach cramps. Then after a week of that I got my period. I have now been bleeding for 8 days. Is this normal or should I contact my doctor?
