Birth Control Pill Problem
UpdatedI've been on birth control pills for few months now. I was finishing a pack and having my 7 day break to allow the period but it was late 3 days, so do I still start the next pack on the 7th day or should I wait till my period is finished? And if I take it on the 3rd day of my period will it stop it or prolong it?

Hello, Bess! How are you?
You should still start on the 7th day, as scheduled and your period should stop, in the time frame it normally would.
Other typical side effects of this medication, as reported by the U.S. FDA, may include nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and weight changes.
If your period continues past it's normal duration, you should consult your doctor.
Is there anything else I can help with?
