How long does it take for nur isterate wear off because i would really like to become pregnant soon. I have been using the injection since May 2011 to Nov 2011. should i take pills instead so that my cycle can return faster or what? i desperately need advise on this regard because i want to have a baby. ## Have you consulted your doctor? However, there really isn't going to be much you can do about the weight change, as long as you're taking the Oralcon. It contains a synthetic estrogen and those very commonly cause women to gain weight. People told me that for any brand of birth control pills if all tablets in a blister of 21 tablets have the same color, they are all the same (i.e. contain the same amount of different types of ingredients). Is this always true? (I am asking because many people think that you have to take the tablets in a blister in the order indicated by the arrows on the blister but if they are all the same it doesn't matter as long as you take one tablet every day when you are supposed to take an active tablet). I am taking Harmonet birth control pills by Pfizer. A blister of Harmonet pills consists of 21 pills which all have white color and look the same. Are they actually all the same (contain the same amount of hormones in each pill), i.e. is Harmonet a monophasic birth control pill? ## From what I've been able to find, yes, they are monophasic, it is the sudden stop of not adding any hormones that fourth week that induces a period.
