I've had the jadelle for a year now. It works so good! I get my period every 2 months like I'll have it for 5 days for a month then the next month I get a 5 day period then it doesn't come for a bit. Only down side is my mood swings are so annoying and the bf goes oh no Satan's waterfall is coming?? But it stops me from getting pregnant and eating alot so I don't mind hahaha. ## I'm glad that it's working so well for you. The irregular periods and mood swings can be normal side effects of it, as reported by the FDA, you may also experience dizziness, headache and weight changes. I must admit, I love how your bf refers to it…. I may pass that phrase on to my husband, he'll probably love it, too! LOL Is there anything I can help with?

Hello, I just moved and keep finding these little pills and would like to know what they are and about them. If the are dangerous. It is a small white pill with 10 on the first side. On the second side it has the letters 'ON' with a line underneath. Can someone tell me what they are please! Thanks! ## Hello, Nikki! How are you? I understand your concern. This tablet is manufactured by Purdue Pharma and they list it as being a 10mg Oxyneo tablet, which contains the active ingredient Oxycodone. The U.S. FDA classifies this as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hi. I'm 19 years old. I had unsafe sex February 25th and now it's Feb 28th. Can I still use micropill to prevent me from being pregnant? Is it still effective? I had my period on February 12th and I'm expecting to have a period on March 10th. Please answer this as soon as possible.

I took Minastrin 24 Fe for 6 months. I got off track in the 5th month and didn't have a period (normally lasts all 4 of the inactive days) since I just kept taking the white pills I had in old packs that I messed up in the beginning. I stopped taking the pill on New Year's Day and I haven't had a period since. Could I be pregnant? I was intimate with my partner the day after I stopped taking the pill. ## Yes, it you were intimate right after stopping it, there is a risk of pregnancy. It depends on when you ovulated. Have had yourself checked for pregnancy? The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and spotting.

I've started Sprintec in August and stopped taking it the beginning of January because I never got my refill. So i have been off of it for about 1 month and I haven't gotten my period. I started Sprintec to regulate my period. Can I start back anytime? And if I do start any time, will I get my period? ## Hello, Taylor! How are you? You can start back any time, as long as your doctor approves. If you aren't on your period, it will take 7 days of taking it, before it will protect against pregnancy. You should get your period, when you take the last pills in the packet. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, breakthrough bleeding, headache and weight changes. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been on lo loestrine fe for 7 weeks now. My first pack i did not have a period just some light spotting (4 times) in a 2 day period at the end of the pack. Now I am on my 2nd pack on my 4th week and due for my period this friday but have a feeling im not going to get my period again. I have been on this birth control before and I always had a full on period when the brown pills start. Could I be pregnant or is there something else going on? ## Hello, CourtneyC89! How are you doing? Well not getting your period and not thinking you'll get it are very different, so you do have to wait and see whether or not it starts. A very light spotty period can be normal, when you're taking hormonal contraceptives, even if you had normal ones in the past when taking it. Our bodies do ch...

Please identify, the pill it has a wc on o,be side and 124. On the other í ## Hello, Mike! How are you? Is the marking WC 421? If so, the manufacturer Warner Chilcott lists it as being one of the active tablets from the oral contraceptive packet Lo Loestrin FE. The FDA lists its typical side effect as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, spotting and irritability.

I'm 2 weeks in on this pill and I literally can cry at the drop of a hat. Even when I'm happy. Also my smells which are normally very heightened are 100 times worse. I gag constantly. Is this gonna calm down soon? I feel like an i**** in front of everyone all the time now :/ ## As reported by the FDA, side effects from oral contraceptives usually take about 3 months to go away, because it can take that long for your body to adjust to the hormonal changes. You may also experience dizziness, headache and spotting. However, as severe as your symptoms sound, this may not be the right one for you to take and you may need to speak to your doctor about trying a different OC. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am 36 and for the past year been struggling with VERY HEAVY bleeding and HUGE blood clots. In September of 2015 I missed my period and it finally came in October 2015 (I was 6 weeks late). On January 5th 2016 I contacted my doctor because I have not stopped bleeding since October. I am talking heavy bleeding non stop and experiencing blood clots sometimes about the size of a softball. My doctor suggested lo loestrin to help reset everything back on track. I began taking this pill the same day and noticed a HUGE difference I even stopped bleeding for 4 straight days ( something that was VERY welcoming after months of torturous bleeding) my daughter got sick and I missed 1 pill last week. The next morning I woke up and all the bleeding and blood clots started again. It's now been a ...

hi i was told to take sprintec by the doctor because of my very heavy bleeding i used to have and ive been on it for a month now i skipped one white pill bc i got my period on the second white pill and it was light the first two days but started to get heavier on the 3rd day and i called my doctor and told him and he said to go on to a new pack and i am on my 3rd blue pill now and ive been on my period for 6 days now and it wasnt that heavy the first two days but for the 4 days it was heavy and today is my 6 day on it and its still heavy is this normal? ## Hello, Jennifer! How are you? Has it improved, yet? Irregular bleeding can occur for the first 3 months, or so, while your body is getting used to the hormones in an oral contraceptive, so yes, this can be normal. Other side effects, ...

I recently switched over to tri sprintec birth control. My husband and I have decided to start trying to have a baby. So I haven't completed a full pill packet cycle, and i havent been taking them at the same time each morning. As soon as we agreed to have a baby I stopped taking the pills immediately. I believe it was the first or second day of taking the white pill. Right now I'm towards the end of the packet. I have been having spotting this week. So my question is could I become pregnant if we are already trying, or do I have to wait for my ovulation? ## Hello, Angie! How are you? You can't get pregnant, until ovulation occurs and an egg is released to be fertilized. The spotting is most likely due to stopping the pills, because your body has to readjust your hormones on...

Hello, right now I am a Sunday starter but due to upcoming events I would like to change my start day to Thursday so that I don't have my period over the weekend. Would I still be protected if I finished my active pills but then started my new pack on Thursday instead of Sunday? This would allow my period to start but it would stop on Thursday when I start the new pack. ## Hello, Alex! How are you? There is no guarantee that your period would stop, when you start the new pack. If your doctor approves it, you may be better off just skipping the period weeks pills altogether and starting a new pack immediately, which may let you skip your period, altogether. The FDA lists the typical side effects of oral contraceptives as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes,...

Hello. I am taking the birth control tri lo sprintec. This is my first month of the generic version. I got my period the third row of my packet, which are the dark blue pills. Yesterday I took the last dark blue pill in the row and my period is finally almost gone. Just a little bit of brown spotting. Today I took my first white pill from the bottom last row. Will I get my period again even thought I just had a full 7 days of it? ## Hello, Niki! How are you? Yes, you most likely will, that can happen, when taking oral contraceptives. If it continues, then you may want to speak to your doctor about trying a different one. The FDA lists other possible side effects as including nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. hello, I am away and rainout of Angeliq tablets. Silly me, but medical aid full of nonsense in giving another pack in advance, however thought a week off was not to serious. I have been off a week soon, and started bleeding after two days. A brown discharge then to red normal bleeding discharge. Is this normal. I have been on Angeliq for 6 years with supervision of my Gynae. I recently had a polyp removed and they are insisting that if another polyp re-occurs I should have the insertion of the Mirena ring which has less of the one hormone that causes polyps. I heard though that the Mirena has had major problems/side effects as do most tablets etc. Which is better? Any natural remedies as last resort.

i am taking althea pills, but as of now i'm planning to use micropil. 1 week na after ko maubos yung althea, meaning tomorrow mag start na ulit ako ng pills. ok lang ba na mag switch ako to micropil? and kailangan ba na no contact ulit for 7days? thanks! ## Hi neelhtak, How are you? I regularly skip over my period by taking Day 1 of Week 1 when I would normally start my white pills; however, I forgot to pick up my upcoming month's prescription before travelling abroad. I have left over packs from several months ago when I was not consistent. These leftover packs only have week 2 or week 3 left in them. I have 9 days left until my white pills start. If I take the beginning of week 3 from my leftover (day 15) on the day I was supposed to take day 1 of of the new month can I still stop my period? Will the birth control still prevent pregnancy?

I took Lo Loestrin for about 4 months and had to stop when I finished the 4th pack. So when I stopped it was the beginning of last month. I got a period around this time last month, no issue. This month however, I did take a couple pills for a couple days, and have not gotten my period yet. I have had sex but never unprotected. Do you think I should be worried about pregnancy, or is this due to my going off the pill/taking a couple at the beginning of the month? ## Hi I am in the same position, but I have had unprotected sex since...........Not sure what is going on???? I normally come on a few days after stopping but this time nothing? ## Hi. I too have stopped the lo loestrine fe after two months. I was on Yaz prior to switching to lo loestrine fe for many years. Im just confused as to this pack and if I'm doing something wrong. My period has started on the 2 white pills and 2 pink pills before but that didn't last. It now always comes on 3rd week during the blue pills instead of from what I've been reading the "2 white 2 pink pills" and it's longer then I've ever had it? What am I doing wrong? ## Hello, Christina! How are you? You're not doing anything wrong, if you're taking all of the active blue pills around the same approximate time each day. Irregular bleeding can occur for the first 3 months, or so, while your body is getting used to the hormones in this oral contraceptive. If it's been longer than 3 month, it may not be the right one for you and you may need to try a different one. Other typical si...
