Hi, My doctor gave me Diane 35 as an emergency contraceptive pill to take within 24 hrs of unprotected sex. I had to eat 6 tablets a day.. (2 tabs ..3 times in a day)? This I had to follow for 3 days.. I.e. 18 tabs in 3 days. I started having this medicine in the evening of the same day. And continues it for next 3 days. So I ate 20 tabs in total. As per doc, after I eat this for 3 days and stop, I should get my period after 3-7 days. It's been 9 days and I haven't got my period yet. Usually my periods always get late by 5-7 days than the date I got it in last month. Is it because of this? Is there anything to worry? I've been on lo loestrin fe for like 7 months now. I rarely ever miss pills but sometimes I take them a hour or so late because I'm always busy! well I had unprotected sex twice for the first time ever. My period came on Aug 7th and I got started on a new birth control (Lo Loestrin Fe). Since the end of my period I have been having brown vaginal discharge. Its now Aug 30th and I'm still having this discharge. And no, I'm not pregnant. This discharge comes out in spots and sometimes its in clots. It happens daily and it's really embarrassing and annoying. Is this normal? Im still on my first pack and Im really considering to stop taking the pill. I had an emergency pill about 3 weeks before i started using the Oralcon pills, and took my 1st pill on the 2nd day of my menstruation, although my periods were not normal because of the emergency pill, but i still had my periods at that time, with less bleeding than usual. I'm on my 3rd pack of the Oralcon pills now, and i never had any periods since my 2nd pack, even when I'm on the red pills. I'm worried now, i want my periods back. I have been taking sprintec since august of 2011. Before that i was taking ortho tricylen lo but my new gyno switched me to sprintec. Today in march 2012 i started cramping and spotting. I am not supposed to start my period for another week. I take it at the same time everytime except this last week i have been off on taking it regularly. should I be concerned? ## Those can be normal side effects of taking an oral contraceptive, especially if you've been taking it at irregular intervals. Hi, iv had the jadelle in for 2 and half weeks, when I run a figure down my arm it hurts. I can feel pain when I bend my arm or if I lay my son on my arm.
