Ive been on sprintec for many months now and when it comes time to take the white pills, I dont usually get my period until the 4th, 5th, or 6th day. Not sure why this happens. I have to pretend to have my period so my mom doesn't think I'm pregnant. I have been engaging in intercourse, but we use a backup method of protection every time. I also rarely miss any pills, and if I do, I make sure to take them right away, or to take two at a time, etc etc. I follow the directions. I just don't know why my period is always so late. I'm a sunday starter, and today is thursday and still no bleeding. The last time I had intercourse was 12/20, and today is 1/2. This happened with last month's period as well. It came pretty late. Hi! I'm going to stop Tri-Previfem to level out my body in order to try to conceive in a few months. I've been on birth control pills (mostly this one and similar to it) for 17 years and I'm worried about what to expect. I'm fine with my period being a little whacky for a few months, but vainly I'm worried that my face will go crazy with acne. I had acne prior to starting the pill, but I was also 16, so I'm just not sure what to expect. Also, if acne does flare up, does it decrease once you do get pregnant? Am currently on jadelle which is causing heavy bleeding and have been prescribed Norethestrone. I am 56 years old. I have been on Angeliq for just over 6 years and i feel i would like to stop the medication. My doctor said I can stop taking Angeliq in the Winter so as to not have to endure any sweats or hot flushes if they occur. Hi i have had my jadelle in four years 5 months. Lately i have been nauseous, vomitted a few times, tired have gone off some of my fav foods and craving certain and some weird things. oral contraceptive ## I have just been told by CVS that Ortho-Novum 135/28 has been discontinued. Do you know if this is true. I have been on the birth control for several years and it is wonderful. ## I got my last refill of it 3 months ago. Now CVS just told me its been discontinued. It looks like they told you that last Oct. I just got it dispensed for the first time Jan 2012. I loved it! Light cycles and no side effects. Hummm... Okay so I have searched high and low and even asked my pharmacist but I don't think they understood my question. I was on the implant for years and after bad side effects switched to the pill (tri-previfem). I went a month without any form of birth control between the two to let my body sort itself out and DID NOT have ANY intercourse, remained abstinent. My period started on Sunday and I started my BC pack day one, week one - 746 pill (white/greyish) - on that Sunday that I started. I've taken it for three days now and my period stopped, is that supposed to happen? I know I'm supposed to have my period on the last week (week 4) so is it supposed to stop my period once I start taking it the first week? If I could get an answer I would be soooooo grateful! I had my period normally last month, then this month - 10 days before I was supposed to get my period - I started spotting, and just thought it was during ovulation. It ended up becoming a full on period and I still have it almost a week later! I am not supposed to get my actual period for another 5 days, but not sure what this is all about?
