Based on what information I have gathered, this is a foreign over the counter product advertised for the treatment of arthritic and neuropathic pain. Each capsule is supposed to contain 300mg of Monophosphoric Ester B1 vitamin, 200mg of Pyridoxine HCl and 250 mcg of Cyanocobalamin.
In 2009 the Hong Kong Department of Health warned consumers not to buy or use the product Bevidan after it was found to contain undeclared prednisolone and mefenamic acid. [1]
I am not sure if things have changed since then, whether the original manufacturer revised their formulation, etc, or if the product was simply pulled from the market. Does anyone else know?
