Betamox 500mg Helpful?

Can betamox cure the STI called 'drop'? If not, what can one use to treat it?

I pharyngeal gonorrhea which resulted tonsils and sometimes sore throat. I took zithromax and injected ceftriaxone and still I see small symptoms, but I went to my Doc. He has given me betamox 500, I want to know if that can help?
