Hi, my name is Lerato and I have a problem with my periods. I always feel like there's something inside my uterus and it's painful. Will Betamox (250mg) help me with this kind of situation?

Hi. I am 12 weeks pregnant and my husband had the flu so the doctor gave him betamox. After that we had unprotected intercourse. Is the baby at risk or should I be worried about this?

My almost 2 year old had the flu, so I took her to the doctor last week and got 125mg Betamox. Should she finish the whole bottle even after taking it for a week now?

Please note that colds or flu's and the symptoms from them are often caused by viruses - meaning that an antibiotic will not help with treating them.

However, when it comes to antibiotics and preventing bacterial resistance to them, it is generally recommended to finish the full course of treatment. This will ensure that the infection is completely gone.

The active ingredient in Betamox is Amoxicillin, which covers a very broad spectrum of bacteria; but if the infection even slightly remains, it can render the Amoxicillin less effective for future use.

How can Betamox 500mg be used in the treatment of gastroenteritis and a person who is HIV+? Will it help with diarrhea?

I had a pretty bad heartburn and then a few days later a throat infection. The GP I saw gave me betamox as the antibiotic but it has been 3 days and now I have the flu and I feel like something is stuck in my throat to where I can’t breathe. Is it working? Should I change my medicine? How long does betamox take to work?

I was taking Betamox for 2 weeks. The doctor tells me it's for treating a rash, but after taking it, I noticed that I had my menstrual cycle before my expected period date and I was bleeding too much. Does it mean I can get pregnant?
