I was taken off Inderal because of my COPD, but recently my doctor said to take it again. I'm having reactions that may or may not be due to this med. Does anyone have answers please, concerning the combination of Beta blockers and COPD?

Do you have any idea why the doctor told you to start taking the same medication, again? If you have high blood pressure, or some other cardiac condition, there are many other medications you can try.

And yes, the FDA does warn that beta blockers, including Inderal, may cause problems for people that have COPD. Other side effects may include nausea, headache, dizziness, increased urination, and hypotension.

What type of reactions are you having? Are you on any other medications?
