Best Time To Take Metoprolol Tartrate 25 Mg
UpdatedI take a half a pill in the morning after breakfast and half after dinner. Is taking the half after dinner okay?

It is, as long as your doctor approves and has told you to take 25mgs a day. In most cases, they prescribe it to be taken once a day, due to the fact that it makes more likely that someone will remember to take it and not miss doses. However, in some cases, it does work better for some people to take such medications in split doses.
I found that I get much better control of my blood pressure and heart rate by spacing my doses throughout the day.
The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.
Is there anything else I can help with?
