Best Time To Start Sprintec?
UpdatedHi, I have my period today (Thursday) but can I start taking Tri-Sprintec on Sunday instead of today? Because I will be on a vacation next month and I dont want to have my period during those days.

Hello, Charm! How are you?
No, as long as your doctor approves, you can start it at any time, but if you don't start it on the first or second day of your period, it will take 7 days to reach its full level of efficacy in your body to prevent pregnancy, so you'll need to use some other form of protection for the first week.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, spotting and PMS-like symptoms.
Is there anything else I can help with?
