There is no generic for Oxycontin, which is the time released formulation of Oxycodone from Purdue.

However, there are generics available of the regular release formulation, the name brand for this is Roxicodone, but it will not last as long as the time released formulation.

A time released medication that you may want to discuss with your doctor as an alternative, which is also available as a generic, is MS Contin, which contains the active ingredient Morphine.

Oxycodone, however, is stronger than Morphine, so you would require a higher dosage of the MS Contin.
