Best Generic Adderall Brands (Page 31)

Is the round pink 30 mg Adderall generic name Sandoz/Eon with the markings of CDR 136 on one side more or less effective than the oval orange 30 mg Adderall generic name Barr/Teva with the markings of b974 on one side and 30 on the other side? What is the most effective/potent Adderall that is generic and 30 mg?

Folks, we know one thing for sure. That is that amphetamine is an old drug, and as such, it is easily manufactured, correctly. There is no excuse for this drug to be either weak or ineffective...other than profit. It should not vary in efficacy depending on which strength or formulation. Consistency should be very easy to achieve, as long as one is not messing with the formula to stretch (quarterly) profits, wherein leaving out (some of) the active ingredients and adding more of the fillers would certainly add up to more profits. Another thing to consider is that the bulk of the active ingredients are made in countries such as China and India. Places the FDA can not carry out spot inspections on. It takes the FDA time and govt approval to do an inspection. Thus, the FDA relies on "self-reporting" on the drugs. The FDA is using the "honor system" for the foreign drug manufacturers, when it comes to reporting. Do your own Google search, and also search for info on TEVA. They were one of the worst. Aurobindo was another horrible manufacturer. There is no excuse for inconsistency in this drug. Maybe 50 years ago, but not in this day and age.....the age of instant gratification and GREED.

you should find a local pharmacy mom and pop you can rely that will order whatever you need for a lil money extra....the reason teva/aurbindo are everywhere is the price....but for a mere 3 to 5 dollars more im getting sandoz 30mg ir x60 for $3.45 more than the teva...and my xanax greenstone over all else for 4 dollars and its the brand name authorized generic...aka the same line makes them off the same formula and plant...good luck

I have been taking 30 mg IR pink round pills from CORE but since they discontinued SUN is the next best thing to do. I have tried all the other brands and they never did much for me!

You find the Sandoz IR to be definitely better than the TEVA IR? I have an opportunity to get the Sandoz IR 30 mg from a Pharmacy in my area, but have heard that even Sandoz changed their formula and they are not nearly as good as they once were. Please let me know I’m going crazy playing this shell game. The only Pharma with Sandoz IR is a Kaiser pharmacy and it is 90$ to fill in comparison to 23$ for TEVA at Walgreens. I do not mind paying the extra 60$, but I’m nervous. This s*** is ridiculous.

Noticed feeling different on my Sandoz back around December, but it was sporadic. When I filled my script in March, it was definite. Started having migraines daily, mouth sores, severe acid reflux, rash, pain all over in muscles, severe red eyes, etc. Contacted my doc and explained it only happened when I took the med. He thought maybe I'd developed an allergy to the dye, so wrote me a script for the 10mg because the dye is different. Before that though, I contacted Sandoz to ask about a change, and they said the could ONLY tell me what was is my current med by lot#, and, could NOT tell me if there had been any changes to the med. So started taking the 10mg(with much trepidation), and all went well. When I had those filled, they said they shorted me 11 pills and I would need to pick them up the next day. So I picked them up and noticed they were different than the ones I picked up the day before, but they were, indeed, Sandoz. Pinched off a bit to see how they "felt", every single bad side effect I was having on the 20s came back! Therefore, I can only conclude it wasn't the dye at all, but that there HAS been a change to the Sandoz overall, and folks, it ain't good. At. All. So now every single generic on the market is trash. No more "gold standard" Sandoz my friends. Could it be where the labs are getting the raw material from or something? I don't get why they can't get this med right. I have to wonder where the disconnect is occurring?? Doesn't anybody making this cr** take the med or have family members taking the med that can clue them in to the terrible poisonous side effects? I have a 10+ years history with this med, so I know what the original patented formula was like and what they are making now is NOTHING like the original. Sandoz used to be the closest in function and feel with the least side effects. Sadly, it's only a short matter of time before others will realize, this is no longer the case! BTW, I also filed a complaint with the FDA, but we know where that's going to go, lol. Tired of feeling like lab rat, or victim of some horrendous terrorist experiment. Or maybe big pharma/FDA is trying to drum up some business by making people sick! Sick enough to end up in the hospital with this cr**.

The Orange Oval.
Pink Round is horrible. Also, there are yellow round ones that seem to be just as good as the oval orange ones.
I'm speaking about the 30 mg.

Re: Erica (# 607) Expand Referenced Message

I don't like them. They seem potent at first but lose steam very quickly. Most importantly I find they do little for concentration and focus. It's like they loaded some Sudefeds in them...no mood help whatsoever.

With that said, I'm no Doc and they may be the holy grail to you.

Just try them. It's only 1 month.

Good luck!

Re: Erica (# 607) Expand Referenced Message

Hi Erica,

I am currently on Mylans and which I weren't. I'd take TEVA over these any day! I think they are giving me headaches, irrability and no real focus. I take 25 mgs of IRs 2X/day. Have you gotten yours yet?
I will never accept a scrip filled with Mylan or Mallincroft again.

Re: Erica (# 607) Expand Referenced Message

I had been taking Teva since Corepharma was discontinued, but I just got an Rx for Mylan 20mg. I took my first dose today. So far it's "smooth" and didn't "punch me in the face." The come down doesn't seem to be as harsh but I won't know for sure til this evening. I've been able to focus without the nasty side effects that I get with Teva, such as foggy head, confusion & forgetfulness. Mylan seems like it could be a promising alternative. I'll know more after I've been taking it longer but that's what I've noticed so far. Best of luck to you! I hope it helps you with your ADD.

Re: The Dude (# 604) Expand Referenced Message

Did u ever try the new Sandoz formula for 30mg? If so is it working. If not, have u found any brand that has remotely worked recently? Someone please help if u know of any brand in any mg or IR or XR that is working post about it. I just got diagnosed two weeks ago and am on Teva IR 10mg (trying to find my right dose) and had horrible side effects and feel worse fog brain and has made my symptoms worse overall. I felt speedy one time and thought there was maybe a potential hope that it would mellow out and help me focus but just felt speedy one dose and all other doses have done nothing! I’m worse than before and can’t get nothing done and am a stay at home mom. Please help!

I have been on adderall since 1995. I have tried core & they sucked, xrs were good, mylans were ok once. Sandoz are on supposed backorder bulls***! Now teva’s were ok, that was 4-6 months ago. Now i feel like im taking a placebo. Alone today i took 660 mg of 30s and 280 mgs of 20's. That used to land me in the hospital with cardiac issues. Now I feel very little effect.

Re: Comments Submitted (# 610) Expand Referenced Message

I got Mylan for the first time this month based on reviews from this thread and my personal experience has been NOTHING...literally feels like nothing. I am interested in trying Teva next month, but ODDLY, there have been so many CRAZY reviews on weight gain, I am SUPER reluctant. Thought?

Hey where were you able to get the core Pharma ones? Also, were they the 20 or 30 mg IR? Please let me know as I'm about to go fill my script and I'd like to get core.

Re: Comments Submitted (# 610) Expand Referenced Message

Thanks for the report. I sincerely appreciate everyone's input on this! Getting my adderall script filled has been a freaking nightmare. I literally have to call every cvs/pharmacy only to be told that they cant tell me the info on the phone. I go there just for them to tell me its not in stock and when it is in stock it's AUROBINDO and ive never taken that before but ive seen way too many complaints to waste my script on it. I tell them i can only have teva, mylan or sandoz. Those are the 3 ive heard at least some good reviews on. I went to walgreens who had teva. They make me wait 15 minutes just to tell me my insurance (medicaid americhoice) doesn't contract with them. So i continued the hunt and mind you, this took me two weeks to find a place that has something im willing to take in stock. I get told my cvs has mylan (my least ideal choice) but at this point idc!!!! Ok so THEN after thinking im finally getting it, they tell me that they need a prior authorization AGAIN. I've been waiting on that for another week. Lol, in conclusion, i still dont have the adderall. If this mylan sucks im gonna be PISSSSSSED. Btw for anyone looking for teva, walgreens carries them pretty much exclusively i was told. Sorry for the rant. Any more updates on the mylan? Still going smooth?

I have had experiences with:

TEVA

COREPHARMA

Mallinckrodt

Sandoz

All generic are IR

My opinion:

Although Teva has decreased recently in potency and efficacy, it is still stronger and more efficacious than any other generic

Warning: Mallinckrodt Is absolutely horrible. Avoid

No experience with Mylan

I used to get 20mg IR by IMPAX. I functioned ok on that. Then Teva & Sun pharma put me to sleep most of the time, once in a while getting ONE pill that helped me function better- I’d stay awake that day. Today I took my first 30mg IR by the Teva/Aur___, and an hour later went check my Med cup to see if it was still stuck on the bottom or something cuz I felt even less than with the SUN Pharma. I realize what Steve said is true- quality control is something I question also. Having taken this drug for many years- I’ve gone thru my share of brands- and unless it’s produced by same company as BRAND, we are stuck taking what feels like FAKE PRODUCTS!! I hope someone can get a chain pharmacy to stock the real generic to help produce a medication in All the Adderall strengths so people who need this can get real benifits from it. Till one of the many of us searching finds a Brand that helps- I’ll keep checking back with y’all. Good luck and I hope all of you find a Brand that helps YOU! Peace!

When I first got into the s app it has a list of pharmacies where I could get the amphetamin salts I was previously taking. It states it was revised May 1, 2018. Liars!!! I’ve called every single one of them and non they listed carries the 30mgs round pink tablet cor/136!!! Now I get back in and they changed the rev., to Mar 31, 2018. I’m desperate. The Orange football 30mgs Teva’s only work for 5 hrs. I come down really quick, nauseated and puking if I take another one in less than 7hrs. Plus it takes 45 mins to kick in so in the meantime I’m a couch potatoe. I live between Tucson, and Sierra Vista, Az. and there is not one pharmacy that carries the core brand amphetamin salts. WTF!!!! I need my life back!
